Welcome to Owls Class Blog
The Hedgehogs and Owls had a lovely time in the woods. We dug for worms and painted pictures with mud.We looked for different colours and made pictures by drawing with flowers and grass.We also made perfume and hammered flowers and leaves to make prints on fabric.
The Reception Classes enjoyed a great afternoon of sports today. All the children took part in running,egg and spoon,obstacle and dressing up races. They also had a go at a throwing a bean bag.
We had a lovely time at Cotswold Wildlife Park.Everyone enjoyed looking at all the different animals basking in the sunshine.
We have had a great time celebrating World Book Day! We dressed up in our pyjamas , shared our favourite books and had hot chocolate and a biscuit.
We have had another exciting week in reception,with lots of Jack and the Beanstalk themed activities. The children worked together to re-tell the story using songs,props and costumes. They also learned about the life cycle of a bean and have planted their own – I wonder how tall they will grow? The children have measured different length giant footprints and heights of beanstalks and
The Owls class have been learning about the parts of their body in their Jigsaw class. We enjoyed drawing around each other and labeling the drawings.
The reception classes had great fun measuring each other and various objects in their classrooms. They used bricks and tape measures.

Fred came to visit us on his birthday so we threw him a party! First we wowed him with our sounds,then we each decorated a biscuit before everyone dressed up and had a dance.
The Owls class have been harvesting some vegetables from around the school grounds.
