Dear Parents
Most of the children seem to have settled into school routines and it’s
almost as if we’d never been away!
Extended outdoor area
We are delighted with the revamped outdoor area for children in Years 1 & 2. Our very sincere thanks go
to the volunteer work force from Honda who carried out all the work free of charge. We only had to pay for materials which
were just under £2000. Thanks also to all those who enjoyed a curry at the Bombay Lounge as the management have very
generously donated £250, which will go towards the cost of materials. We are also very pleased with the new lighting
and flooring which combine to make the school look brighter and more spacious.
Breakfast club
For only £2.00 per day a nutritious breakfast and lots of fun can
be had at our breakfast club, located in the Junior school. Places are available but you must book in advance,
forms available from the school office. The club opens at 7.45 and infant children are escorted to our building for 8.40.
Dropping Off and Picking Up
I would like to remind everyone bringing children to school or collecting them that if they
are in a vehicle they should park in the Community Centre car park. Access to the school car park is not
permitted at the start and end of the school day. Parking in Towcester Road is dangerous and puts children and adults at risk.
We appreciate the efforts of everyone who behaves responsibly.
Cycle Storage
We have 10 places available in the cycle store. If your child comes to
school on a bike on a regular basis please complete the form below and we will allocate places on a first come, first served
basis.
TD Days
The
school will be closed for staff training on Monday 2nd November. I will let you know the dates for the remaining
3 days as soon as they have been arranged.
Yours sincerely
My child cycles to school regularly and would like a space in the cycle
shed on the following days. Monday Tuesday
