Dear Parents/Carers, We have had a very busy term and I am sure that all of the children (and staff) are ready for a rest. The “Bedtime Stories” theme for World Book Day was a great success and everyone enjoyed listening to each other’s favourite stories and cosying up with their hot chocolate at the end of the day. For Easter, we made some yummy chocolate nests out of chocolate, shredded wheat and mini eggs. In small groups, we all had a turn of mixing the ingredients before spooning into our own cases. We then chose 4 mini eggs to go into our chocolate nest. They smelt delicious and we can’t wait to eat them! Happy Easter from the Cheetahs, Miss Mann, Mrs
This week in reception the children have been measuring. We have also explored the school grounds, looking for signs of spring.
There was something very exciting happening today. In the morning, there was a solar eclipse and it meant that the moon was going to go past the sun and block out most of the sunlight. As you can’t look at the sun, we all watched a live stream of someone filming the solar eclipse on their telescope. We loved watching the moon gradually block

This week we have been weaving to make our mother’s day cards and we have also been looking after our beans; have you seen how tall they’ve grown?
In reception we have been weaving paper to make our Mother’s Day cards. We have also been learning about time.
On Tuesday we took part in a tennis lesson run by the Wiltshire Tennis Academy.
