In PSHE the Rabbits class have been making treasure boxes to hold “I can….” statements. They have been thinking about the things they have achieved and what makes them proud.
In science the year 2’s have been talking about healthy foods. We thought about what makes a healthy meal. Also we looked at a variety of fruits and vegetables and drew some pictures of them.
In Forest School we had a look at the trees and thought about how they are different in winter.Some plants had died but we went looking for things that were still living. In our Jigsaw Jenny lesson we talked about persevering when things are difficult.We all had a go at doing something that was tricky for us. We didn’t give up and kept on trying.
As part of our topic ‘Once Upon A Time’ we have been learning about Greek Myths and looking at some of the creatures that feature in the stories. Today we have been drawing some of these mythical creatures and we will be designing our own and making collages.
The Owls class have been learning about the parts of their body in their Jigsaw class. We enjoyed drawing around each other and labeling the drawings.
