What have we been learning in Term 2?

In 'Tree Huggers' we spent the afternoon making shelters for minibeasts and small animals that might need to hibernate. We used sticks, twigs, leaves and other natural resources to create our mini dens.

Today we had lots of fun celebrating Children in Need. The children wore their best Pudsey and spotty clothes and we had a special treat of decorating biscuits. 

Tree Huggers

In our 'Tree Huggers' session this week, we identified seasonal changes. We collected fallen leaves and used these to create leaf pictures of animals. 

Friday Ukuleles

In year 2 we have been learning how to play the ukuleles. We can confidently play a couple of chords now and strum the ukulele in time to the beat.
