What have we been learning in Term 2

We returned to school, this term, to find someone had built a railway track on our classroom floor! We soon discovered that this had been built by, the significant engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel. We were very impressed by some of his other engineering projects such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Great Western Railway.

As part of our learning, we borrowed a box from STEAM museum. Inside we found clothes from the 1820s and learnt that people used to drink from Billycans. We enjoyed exploring these items and asking questions about them. Our favourite item was the neckerchiefs which we thought were really stylish!

We learnt songs, words and actions for our school production of 3 of a Kind. We performed to our parents and to the rest of the school. We did a fantastic job!
