What have we been learning in Term 6?

Using the outdoors...

We've been drawing pictures to help with our writing about 'How to Build a Bug Hotel.' We said the instructions to each other before writing them down. We learned about Claude Monet then looked at our own lily pads - just like his painting! We looked at the school bug hotel as inspiration for making our own. We're proud of everything we've grown from seeds and bulbs.

Last week we found out about the types of trees we have in our school grounds.  This week we are finding out how seeds and bulbs mature into plants.  We've been looking very closely at lots of different types of vegetable seeds. We're amazed at how they change!
