In Year 1, we have been learning about haikus. Haikus have special rules that make them unique. They are short poems with three lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables.
As a year group, we worked together to learn different haikus. We then spent some time drawing pictures to match the poems, helping us to understand them better and bring the words to life. Have a look at some of our work!
