School Planters
Our school planters have been a labour of love! We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses in sponsoring the planters and by the willingness of parents and members of the school community in helping to get them ready for planting.
One sunny Saturday in April 2022 saw five tonnes of topsoil and one extremely large tractor tyre manoeuvred into place by our willing volunteers.
Each class and the Gardening Club will have their own planters where the children will plant, grow and harvest their fruits and vegetables throughout the year. They will then enjoy cooking and eating them when the time is right! We will update you with news and photos as the project progresses.
