Year 2 Trip to Milestones
To conclude our History of Toys topic we invited parents and grandparents into school to talk to us about the toys and games they used to play with. From action men and dolls to a spirograph set, spinning top and teddy bears there were so many fun toys to experience. All of the children had a fantastic time and learnt a lot from it. Thank you to everyone who came along!
In Year 1 we have been developing our understanding of numbers through partitioning, addition and subtraction. The children have been working together to find different ways of partitioning these numbers using cubes and whiteboards.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
