What have we been learning in Term 4?

We made a character from our favourite book and brought it into school to share with the rest of our class. In the afternoon, we read our favourite books to our friends and talked about them. 

Maths

We have been learning to measure the mass of objects using balance scales and compare them using heavier, lighter, lightest and heaviest. We also enjoyed learning how to measure capacity and volume.     

English 
 

We enjoyed listening to and roleplaying myths and legends that took place in the United Kingdom. Our favourite was Finn McCool because we liked the way he tricked Angus by pretending to be a baby. We are still amazed by his strong teeth that can chew rocks! After reading each of our myths and legends, we located where they took place on a map of the United Kingdom.
