Making Clay Pots

As part of our castles topic we have been designing and making clay pots. These are the type of pots that people in castles in Medieval times would have made and used.


Stanton Park – Year 2

We had a wonderful time at Stanton Park today. In the morning we learned about the history of the park from Roman times and searched the wild meadow for plants and mini beasts. In the afternoon we build dens in the woodland.


Information Technology – Year 2

In year 2 we have been learning how to write blogs and send messages using our DB Primary accounts on I Pads and computers.


Jigsaw – Year 2

In our Jigsaw lessons we have been learning about our different body parts and labelling some pictures.


Stanton Woods – Year 1

The Year 1’s enjoyed a wonderful sunny day in Stanton woods. During the morning we learned about the special properties of a variety of plants.Then we collected plant and flower samples from a lovely meadow. Rock Art

The Hedgehogs made the most of the glorious weather and went outside under the shade of a tree to design and paint rocks.The children decided to paint their rocks as different bugs. They began with a base colour and then used pens and stickers to add the final details – They looked amazing!


Sports Days

We all enjoyed our sports days. We all took part in running ,obstacle and egg and spoon races and we really enjoyed watching our Mums and Dads sprinting with bean bags on their heads. Well done to everyone.
